SHAH ALAM, April 24 — The public is invited to enliven the virtual Ekspo Hasil Suri Selangor (Selangor Housewives’ Crafts and Products Expo, or HaSSel) that starts from today to Tuesday.
The four-day expo opens from 10am to 10pm giving the public the opportunity to experience a new online shopping experience.
State executive councillor for women empowerment Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud said HaSSel provides 100 stalls offering various products made by women in the state.
“This is the first hybrid expo held virtually and offers virtual reality on your mobile phone.
“You can also shop online from the 100 stalls and we will deliver the items you bought to your doorstep,” she said in a post on Facebook today.
Dr Siti Mariah invites the public to register at www.expohassel.com to experience the new online shopping experience and atmosphere.
HaSSel is a platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) led by female entrepreneurs to introduce their products to the commercial world.
The event is the state government’s initiative to empower women in Selangor, especially those who are facing socio-economic challenges.
