SHAH ALAM, May 21 — The free community screening has traced 1,171 individuals to have been tested positive for Covid-19 since the programme was held two weeks ago.
Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the cases were recorded from the state constituencies under the Hulu Langat and Gombak districts since May 8.
“As of May 20, almost 20,000 people had participated in the free testing initiative conducted by the state government.
“The screening programme was initiated to trace the silent carriers and break the chain of infection,” he said on a Facebook post today.
