Former Kajang assemblyman dies, MB conveys condolences

SHAH ALAM, May 11 — Former Kajang assemblyman Lee Kim Sin died of a heart attack this morning.

His death was announced by his son Lee Teng through his father’s Facebook, reported Sinar Harian.

“To everyone, my father had a heart attack and died this morning – Lee Teng,” he wrote on the social media site.

Meanwhile, Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari on Twitter offered his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

“Received sad news that former Kajang assemblyman Lee Kim Sin, also known as Cikgu Lee, has breathed his last.

“Condolences to the family members and friends of the deceased. He was Kajang assemblyman from 2008 to 2013,” he tweeted.

Lee Kim Sin, 66, was elected as Kajang assemblyman for a term after defeating MCA candidate Datin Paduka Low Lee Leng in 2008.

He was from Merbok, Kedah, and is well-known as a Cultural and Heritage Figure in Kajang.
