Free Covid-19 community screening in Semenyih, Kajang this Saturday

By Zareef Muzammil

SHAH ALAM, May 6 — Residents around Semenyih and Kajang are encouraged to undergo the free Covid-19 screening this Saturday to curb the spread of the pandemic.

The Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC) informed that the community screening programme will be held at the Bandar Rinching Public Hall and Cempaka Saujana Impian Hall from 9am to 4pm.

“For the purpose of registration, the public can download the SELangkah app, click the Health button and use the Screening Registration function or register at the website screening.selangkah.my,” said STFC on Facebook.

The Selangor government is actively conducting a Covid-19 monitoring programme via free screening operations throughout the state from May 8 to June 10.

Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the initiative will benefit the high-risk groups in Selangor, who are in close contact, having symptoms and worried about their health status.

He hopes that residents will take proactive steps by undergoing screening according to the date and play a role in reducing the pandemic in Selangor.
