Kepong Metropolitan Lake Garden closed for three days

KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 — The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) today announced the closure of Kepong Metropolitan Lake Garden for three days, starting yesterday until tomorrow, in line with the implementation of the movement control order (MCO).

DBKL, in a posting on its official Facebook account, said that the closure of sports and recreational activities in the area also followed the implementation of the Hotspot Identification for Dynamic Engagement (HIDE) system.

“DBKL will take enforcement action against any party who fails to comply with this directive,” it said, adding that any changes will be notified from time to time.

The government had earlier announced premises, including the Ramadan bazaars listed under the HIDE system, as locations at risk of transmission of the Covid-19 virus, and would be ordered closed for three days.
