SUBANG JAYA, May 1 — Media Selangor Sdn Bhd (Media Selangor) distributed 300 packets of “bubur lambuk” (porridge) to the public at Mydin Mall USJ here yesterday.
Its Advertising, Marketing and Sales senior manager Nursuziana Zulkiflii said the corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme was aimed at strengthening the relationship between media and the community.
“Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God), we successfully completed the distribution within an hour and this programme will be continued at several locations until the end of Ramadan.
“We hope this donation will cheer up the recipients and served as a dish for breaking of fast especially for Muslims,” she told SelangorKini.
The activity is the first CSR programme by Media Selangor and supported by the company’s Sports and Recreation Club, Kerisemas.
Apart from bubur lambuk, SelangorKini newspaper was also distributed to visitors at the hypermarket.
