Tengku Permaisuri Selangor thanks the people for condolence messages

SHAH ALAM, May 1 — The Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin is thankful for the condolences received from various parties and people on the demise of her father, the late Abdul Rahman Baba, 89, on April 20, 2021, equivalent to 8 Ramadan 1421 Hijrah.

“The Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, I and the entire family are very grateful for the condolences we received from various parties and people.

“Although I am still saddened by the passing of my beloved father, the late Abdul Rahman Baba, we appreciate the concern and doa offered for him.

“Thank you again and we pray that all the people will continue to be protected and blessed by Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala,” she said in a post on the Selangor Royal Office Instagram and Facebook accounts today.

Abdul Rahman died of old age at his residence in Section 13 at 3.40am on April 20, 2021.

His remains were buried at the royal mausoleum here, after being bathed and shrouded at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque. Funeral prayers were performed at the same mosque after zohor.
