SHAH ALAM, June 29 — Fifteen Selcare Clinics involved in the Selangor Covid-19 Vaccination Programme (SCVP) will be able to inoculate 600 people a day.
Its manager Mohd Noor Md Nasir said each clinic will set appointments for 40 individuals to avoid crowdedness, which is in line with the standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the National Security Council (NSC).
“The clinics are not that spacious, therefore we need to limit the number of vaccine recipients at a time. A total of 65 employees are involved in the programme,” he told SelangorKini.
The Selcare Clinics that are utilised as vaccination centres (PPVs) are located in Shah Alam, Puchong, Skypark Subang, USJ Sentral, Desa Mentari, Sentosa and Putrajaya.
Meanwhile, for Kuala Lumpur branches, the clinics are in Menara Worldwide, Menara UBN, Menara Hap Seng 2, Bangunan Rohas Perkasa, Menara Olympia, Queens Avenue Cheras, KLO Station and Sri Rampai.

The large-scale SCVP was initiated by the state government to complement and support the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).
On June 9, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari announced a total allocation of RM200 million for the initiative under the Kita Selangor 2.0 Package.
