More than 3,000 undergo Dengkil’s community screening, 26 suspected positive Covid-19

SHAH ALAM, June 3 — A total of 26 individuals are suspected to be Covid-19 positive following the free Covid-19 community screening programme carried out at the Serin Public Hall in Cyberjaya.

Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari on Facebook today shared that 3,251 people had participated in the free community screening in the Dengkil constituency.

“The state government will continue and expand this effort to detect silent carriers in the community,” he posted.

Based on the data shared on his Facebook, a total of 3,225 individuals or another 99.2 per cent tested negative for Covid-19.

As of yesterday, more than 81,000 individuals participated in the free Covid-19 community screening organised by the Selangor government that started on May 8.

Of that number, almost 3,000 participants were confirmed positive through screening using the Antigen Rapid Test Kit (RTK-Ag).
