Selangor Sultan prays for Agong to rule fairly, wisely

SHAH ALAM, June 6 — The Sultan of Selangor and Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor pray that the Yang di-Pertuan Agong can continue to rule the country fairly and wisely based on the Federal Constitution.

Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj and Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin congratulated Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah in conjunction with His Majesty official birthday tomorrow (June 7).

“Paduka Kekanda prays that Seri Paduka Adinda may live a long life with good health and always be in the care of Allah.

“Paduka Kekanda hopes that Seri Paduka Adinda can continue to rule this country of Malaysia fairly and wisely based on the Federal Constitution,” said His Royal Highness in a post shared on Selangor Royal Office Facebook account today.

Sultan Sharafuddin also prayed for His Majesty to be patient during the current situation that is plaguing the country.

“Looking at the current situation, Paduka Kekanda also hopes that Seri Paduka Adinda will always be patient in carrying out the task entrusted to His Majesty, based on Islam and the words from Allah in the Al-Quran.

“May Seri Paduka Adinda continues to sit on the throne of the Malaysian government and be blessed with honour and prosperity,” said Sultan Sharafuddin.
