SHAH ALAM, June 14 — Malaysian startups may now register for the fourth Selangor Accelerator Programme (SAP), which focuses on opportunities created under the new norms such as agrotech, fintech, Greentech, e-commerce and Smart City Solutions (Proptech, Mobility and Logistics).
In a statement today, the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) said the SAP is a structured three-month programme that aims to prepare 30 early-stage startups in becoming investment-ready businesses.
“Winners this year stand a chance to win from a cash prize pool of RM50,000,” it said, adding that the registrations are open until July 14, 2021.
Sidec said participants would be guided by well-versed mentors in the community, learn through comprehensive workshops and gain the necessary industry-related exposures.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the programme would be conducted wholly online, where participants would get their own dashboard for all the courses, webinars and mentoring sessions.
The programme would be held from July 28 until September 5.
Those who are interested may visit www.sidec.com.my/sap2021 to register.
