Three easy steps for RM20 rebate on e-hailing rides to vaccination centres

SHAH ALAM, June 26 — Three easy steps are all it takes to apply for a RM20 transportation rebate when using Grab e-hailing service to the vaccination centre (PPV).

A brief video explaining the steps was recently released to guide those who want to apply via the Selangor Platform (Plats) e-commerce portal.

“Visit www.platselangor.com then you need to press the ‘Inisiatif MBI Bisnes Amal’ button. You will be presented with helpful information including how to redeem the transportation rebate in the Grab app.

“Next, you need to fill in your personal details including the location of the PPV. It should be reminded that you need to have the Grab app to continue with this application,” according to the details in the video clip.

On June 9, Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari announced this initiative through the Kita Selangor Package 2.0

The initiative aims to benefit the people of Selangor aged 50-years-old and above.

The transport rebate of RM10 for a one-way trip or RM20 for a round trip is valid for rides made between July 1 and September 30.

The registration period to signup for the initiative opens on June 20 and 50,000 individuals are expected to benefit from it.
