11 more vaccination centres in Selangor begin operations today

SHAH ALAM, July 26 — The operations of 11 new vaccination centres (PPV) in Selangor starts today, says the Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV).

The committee said the opening of more PPVs is to ensure the number of vaccines administered daily will keep increasing and herd immunity could be achieved.

According to the graphic info uploaded on JKJAV Facebook page, the locations of the PPVs are as follow:

–  Le Gardens Pavilion, Gamuda Gardens, Rawang

– Persada Plus Banquet Hall, Subang

– Dewan Meranti 2, Seksyen U20 Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh

– Dewan Kenanga, Seksyen 28, Shah Alam

– Dewan Kemuning Utama, Seksyen 32, Shah Alam

– Dewan Persatuan Hokkien, Klang

– Dewan Persatuan Soka Gakkai

– Galaxy Mall, Ampang

– Bangi Convention Centre, Section 14 Bandar Baru Bangi

– Dewan Canselor MSU, Section 13, Shah Alam

– UNIKL-British Malaysia Institute (BMI) Sungai Pusu, Gombak

Apart from Selangor, a new PPV is also set up at Desaru Coast Conference Centre (Johor); University Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah (Kedah) and Dewan Majlis Perbandaran Jasin Sri Umbai in Melaka, respectively.

On July 16, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said all adults in Selangor who have signed up for vaccination will receive at least one dose of vaccine by August 1.
