507,050 vaccine doses administered yesterday, the highest so far

KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 — The number of daily vaccine doses administered yesterday exceeded 500,000, involving a a total of 507,050 doses, which is the highest so far, said Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.

Through a posting on his Twitter, he said, of the total, 335,977 were administered as first dose, while 171,073 doses were for the second dose recipients.

The highest daily vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme prior to yesterday was last Friday, involving a total of 460,158 doses.

The National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme was carried out since last February 24.
