890,000 people in Selangor complete two doses of Covid-19 shots

SHAH ALAM, July 26 — A total of 890,000 individuals or 18.75 per cent of the Selangor population have completed their two doses of Covid-19 vaccines as of July 26, while 2.66 million people in the state have received their first jab.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said 3.55 million vaccine doses have been administered cumulatively in Selangor under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

“Meanwhile, an additional 118,234 doses were administered under the Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax),” he said in a Facebook post today.

Earlier today, Health Minister Dr Adham Baba in a Tweet said as of 11pm last night, the daily vaccination rate nationwide is at 399,135.

Of the total number, some 101,463 doses of vaccine were administered in Selangor with 73,921 vaccines for the first dose and the remaining 27,542 vaccines for the second dose.
