Almost 3.5 mln vaccine doses administered in Selangor, says MB

SHAH ALAM, July 25 — A total of 3.45 million vaccine doses have been administered in Selangor under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme as of July 25.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said an additional 109,547 doses were administered under the Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax).

“A total of 18.17 per cent or 863,000 individuals in Selangor have received the full two doses,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Earlier today, Health Minister Dr Adham Babe in a Tweet said as of 11.59pm last night, a total of 16,904,896 vaccine doses have been administered nationwide with 5,397,826 people in Malaysia to have completed their vaccination doses.

Some 11,507,070 people in the country have received their first jab.

On the daily vaccination rate, he said 417,738 doses were administered yesterday, with 113,081 shots recorded in Selangor.
