Caring for feline friends, state rep to give out 200 packs of cat food at Mentari Court

By Sheeda Fathil

PETALING JAYA, July 6 — A total of 200 packs of cat food will be distributed to Mentari Court residents after the area was placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO).

Seri Setia state representative Halimey Abu Bakar said this is to help the residents as they are restricted from going out to buy food for their feline friends during the EMCO period.

“Therefore, I think other than helping the residents here, we also need to be kind to the animals too, regardless of whether they are pets or stray cats in the area,” he said to SelangorKini after visiting the vaccination programme to Mentari Court residents, yesterday.

Halimey said 80 packs of cat food were already distributed to the residents.

“The residents had requested for more cat food to be distributed later,” he said.
