Puchong Indah vaccination centre able to deliver 1,500 doses daily

PUCHONG, July 27 — The Puchong Indah vaccination centre (PPV), which facilitates the inoculation process of the local residents in the area, has begun operations yesterday.

Kinrara state representative Ng Sze Han said the PPV have the capacity to administer 1,500 doses of vaccines a day.

“This is good news for the locals because previously, they would have to drive to either the PPVs in Setia Alam, at the Ideal Convention Centre and Sungai Long.

“I urge the community to grab this chance by registering themselves to get vaccinated,” he said after visiting the PPV at Dewan Serbaguna MBSJ, here yesterday.

Ng, who is also the state executive councillor for local government, said that several PPVs have been set up in Petaling have begun operations with a cumulative capacity to deliver 30,000 doses daily.

“To date, I have been informed that some 18 per cent of residents in Petaling have completed two doses of vaccines while more than 50 per cent have received their first jab,” he said.

Eleven PPVS in Selangor which have started operating yesterday are as follow:

  • Dewan Persatuan Soka Gakkai
  • Galaxy Mall, Ampang
  • Bangi Convention Centre, Section 14, Bandar Baru Bangi
  • Dewan Canselor MSU, Section 13, Shah Alam
  • UNIKL-British Malaysia Institute (BMI) Sungai Pusu, Gombak
