Over 200,000 Covid-19 vaccine doses administered under Selvax

SHAH ALAM, Aug 2 — A total of 207,368 doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered under the Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax) as of August 2, says Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

The Menteri Besar via an infographic shared on Facebook today said some 1.28 million or 27 per cent of the Selangor population have received complete doses of the vaccines under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).

He said 3.3 million or 69.5 per cent of individuals in the state have received their first jab. 

“Meanwhile, a total of 4.58 million doses of vaccines have been administered in the state under PICK,” he said.

Earlier today, the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) stated in an infographic that as of August 1, the recorded daily vaccination rate in Selangor is at 146,244 out of the total 480,122 doses of vaccines administered nationwide.
