Mobile vaccination programme at Batu Tiga, Tanjung Sepat tomorrow

SHAH ALAM, Sept 12 — The mobile Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax) will be held at Batu Tiga and Tanjung Sepat constituencies tomorrow.

The programme which was initiated to ensure that the people in Selangor are not left out from getting their vaccination will then move to the Hulu Bernam constituency on the day after tomorrow.

State executive councillor for public health Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud said the one-week programme starts today until September 18 from 9am to 5pm involving 11 constituencies.

The programme started in Meru constituency and followed by Batu Tiga, Tanjung Sepat, Hulu Bernam, Gombak Setia, Bukit Antarabangsa, Batang Kali, Banting, Teratai, Dengkil and Kampung Tunku.

“For those who have yet to get their vaccine, they are welcome to participate in the programme (walk-in) to get their Covid-19 vaccination for free,” she said on Facebook.

Dr Siti Mariah said the programme aims to administer 1,000 jabs daily aligned with its purpose which is to ensure all of the Selangor people have been vaccinated 

On August 24, she said that the mobile vaccination programme will establish a mobile clinic at a specific location based on the feedback received from the people who have yet to be vaccinated.
