SHAH ALAM, Sept 24 — The Selangor Vaccination Programme’s mobile initiative (Selvax mobile) will be at Pasar Awam Dengkil today instead of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC).

The change of location was informed by the state executive councillor for public health Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud on a Facebook post yesterday.

She said the public, especially residents around the Dengkil area who are interested to get their jabs, must first register through the SELangkah mobile app by entering the DGL24SEP voucher code.

“The programme is open to all Malaysian citizens and foreigners who are aged 18 and above who have yet to receive the first dose of any Covid-19 vaccine,” she said.

The Selvax mobile bus will also make its rounds to Dewan Serbaguna Kampung Chuang Rasa in Kuala Kubu Bharu, today.

The programme,  which started on September 12, aims to ensure that no one is left behind in getting their vaccination.

Operating from 9am to 5pm, the bus will visit  Bandar Baru Klang, Batu Tiga, Tanjung Sepat, Gombak Setia, Bukit Antarabangsa, Batang Kali, Banting, Teratai, Dengkil, Subang Jaya, and Kampung Tunku.

The Kita Selangor Package 2.0 announced on June 9 had allocated RM200 million to make this programme possible, via the Selvax Community initiative.
