Top Glove to resume exporting, selling gloves to the US

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 — The world’s largest gloves manufacturer, Top Glove Corporation Bhd has been allowed to resume exporting and selling gloves to the United States (US) starting from today, following the modification of the findings by the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

The CBP, in its statement, affirmed that disposable gloves made by Top Glove would be admissible at all US ports of entry as of September 10.

“Top Glove wishes to express its utmost appreciation to CBP for its responsiveness in modification of the finding, and wish to thank the Malaysian government and the company’s valued stakeholders for their support and understanding in this matter,” the manufacturer said in a statement today

Top Glove said it remained committed to the health, safety and well-being of its people.

It currently owns 48 factories, with 41 factories in Malaysia, Thailand (five), China (one) and Vietnam (one), comprising glove factories, latex concentrate plants, chemical factories, glove former factory and packaging material factories, dental dam factory, condom factory and face mask factory.
