“I am confident that such affordably-priced four-bedroom, three-bathroom units and the various facilities provided will make many of their residents happy,” said Rodziah.

“Many people are exasperated at how hard it is to be able to own their own home but here in Selangor, we strive to ensure that the people, especially the B40 (low-income) group, can buy houses at affordable prices.”

Rodziah also praised the commitment shown by housing developer MK Land in responding to the state government’s call to provide affordable housing to the B40 and M40 groups.

“With the credibility of MK Land, the Selangor government is confident and believes more affordable houses can be built in the future.

“We expect a total of 970 units of Rumah Selangorku to be built under Phases Three to Six,” she said.
