Air Selangor shares users’ guide on upcoming maintenance works

SHAH ALAM, Oct 5 — Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) has prepared complete information for users on the scheduled upgrading and maintenance works for its critical assets, which begins on October 13.

The details, available on its website, encompass the areas affected, local service centres, and the location of public water taps which will be activated until October 16.

The public can refer to hentitugas.airselangor.com and click the ‘More Details’ button which will display the ongoing status of the incident as well as general questions.

The red signs on the map indicate places that are still affected, while green signs indicate the location where the water supply has been restored.

Users can review the detailed map, which includes the estimated water supply recovery time and the recovery percentage. They can also check on their areas by using the search box.

The water tap icon on the map indicates the location of the activated public water tap, based on their location. Focus on the numbered sign to see which amenities are still available in any given area.

The water tanker icons are the commercial water filling stations that have been activated. Click on the icon for directions to its location and focus on the numbered sign.

A total of 988 locations will be affected by the maintenance works, including those in the districts of Petaling, Klang/Shah Alam, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat, and Kuala Selangor.

Air Selangor has mobilised 105 water tankers, as well as prepared 18 public water taps during this period, for the convenience of its customers while works are undergoing.

Four local water filling stations will also be opened to commercial customers, and payments can be made at Air Selangor’s service counters.
