SHAH ALAM, Oct 29 — The Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax) for Adolescents for those aged 12 and above will be held at Dewan Serbaguna Komuniti Blok G in Apartment Flora Damansara, tomorrow.
The public must register in advance via the SELangkah app, by pressing on the VAX button and entering the voucher code AFD30OCT.
Based on the poster on Facebook shared by state exco for health Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud, the programme is open to both locals and foreign citizens, specifically for participants who have not yet received their first vaccination dose, or missed the appointment for their second Selvax dose.
At least 10,000 teenagers are targeted for inoculation under the programme, which began on October 24 at Dewan Serbaguna Pandamaran Jaya.
Earlier on October 7, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari announced the state vaccination programme would be expanded to teenagers, involving 150,000 doses, after the Health Ministry granted its approval.
Prior to this, Selangor launched Selvax Komuniti dan Selvax Industri to complete and expedite the vaccination process for residents in the state.
