Water supply restored by 99.6 pct, four areas still underway

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 16 — The restoration of water supply in the affected areas in the Klang Valley has reached 99.6 per cent as of 3pm today, said Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor).

Water supply has been fully restored in seven regions, namely Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat, Shah Alam, Kuala Selangor, Petaling, Gombak and Kuala Lumpur.

Meanwhile, the recovery rate in the Klang region is at 96.5 per cent, with restoration in its four areas of Meru, Aman Perdana, Kapar and Bandar Baru Bukit Raja still underway.

Air Selangor hoped that consumers who have received their water supply would use water prudently to allow the recovery process in the other affected areas to run smoothly as scheduled.

Users in the affected areas are advised to follow the latest updates via the hentitugas.airselangor.com/ website.

More information on the disruption can be found on Air Selangor’s mobile app, and its FacebookInstagram and Twitter account including FacebookInstagram and Twitter.
