Easier new features for SELangkah — MB

SHAH ALAM, Nov 24 — Two newly-added SELangkah (Step In, Safely) features, namely the appointment reservation and Covid-19 self-test kits purchase, are now more convenient for Selangorians to use, said the Menteri Besar.

Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the additional functions, which were introduced early this month, also aids in helping people to plan their journeys safely after interstate travel was permitted.

“Selangor has moved a step further with the introduction of these functions. The state government is always concerned and aware of Malaysia’s current progress, and we strive to ensure implemented efforts can be adjusted according to the people’s needs.

“May these new features benefit Selangorians in their daily lives, safely and conveniently,” he said on Facebook today.

The public can start using the new features after updating their SELangkah app.

For self-test kits purchase, the user can choose to either pick it up themselves at selected locations, or have it delivered to their homes.

Recently the state-developed app also introduced an e-wallet feature to facilitate its users opting for cashless transactions.

SELangkah was introduced on May 4 last year as a contact tracing tool at business premises and offices.
