SHAH ALAM, Nov 16 — The Selangor Water Management Authority (Luas) has found illegal structures built within 50 metres of Sungai Buloh river reserve land.

In a statement on Facebook today, Luas said they had conducted an investigation on November 8 following complaints they received on the illegal structures which were built in the said area.

“We have carried out an investigation at Jalan Muara 7, Sesaran in Jeram and have found that there are 10 structures that were illegally built in the area.

“The illegal structures include a house, store, jetty and deck which was used for fish landing,” according to Luas.

Luas said appropriate actions have been taken on the parties involved in the illegal encroachment.
