MBPJ sets up mobile counters to ease licence renewal

SHAH ALAM, 11 Nov — The Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) will operate mobile counters in several locations to ease the renewal of business licences for the year 2022.

The local council said the service will begin operations today until December 31, which would reduce the crowd at Menara MBPJ in Petaling Jaya.

“The initiative would facilitate licence holders to renew their licences at the selected locations near their homes or business premises,” it stated on a Facebook post.

MBPJ had also reminded microentrepreneur licence holders to bring their identity cards and be physically present for the fingerprint scanning process.

The following are the locations of the mobile counters:

1. IPC Shopping Centre (November 11 and 12)
2. Paradigm Mall (November 17 and 18)
3. 1 Utama Shopping Centre (November 24 and 25)
4. The Curve (December 1 and 2)
5. Starling Mall (December 7 and 8)
6. Damansara (December 15 and 16)
7. Jaya Shopping Centre (December 22 and 23)
8. Amcorp Mall (December 30 and 31)
9. Pasar Malam Seksyen 17/ 1A (November 9)
10. Pasar Malam SS8, Sg. Way (November 15)
11. Pasar Malam Taman Medan PJS 2D (November 18)
12. Pasar Malam Medan 9 (November 24)
13. Pasar Malam SS2/60, SS 2/61 (November 29)
14. Lorong Masjid 1, Kayu Ara (December 2)
15. Jalan TSB 9 (December 7)
16. Pasar Pagi SS 2/62 (December 15)
17. Pasar Jalan Othman (December 21)
