SHAH ALAM, Nov 6 — Some 636 visitors came to the Selangor Fruits Valley (SFV) for and during the Deepavali festival.

Its marketing director Nor Rashidah Mohamed Raihan said the reception by visitors has been most encouraging, in addition to them adhering to the standard operating procedures (SOP) laid down.

“They did not have to worry with excessive congestion as with other tourist attractions, since there are SOP controls here,” she told SelangorKini.

Meanwhile Rashidah also reminded visitors to join in the interesting photos competition on Facebook, which runs from November 1 to November 30.

Participants are only required to buy tickets and visit SFV, as well as like its Facebook page and Instagram account.

In a post, they should describe their experience visiting SFV and accompany it with an interesting photo, and not to forget tagging the ‘Selangor Fruits Valley’ Facebook page along with the hashtags #welovesfv #selangorfruitvalley.

SFV official opened on September 15 before being temporarily closed on September 25 to October 1 for relevant works.

Tickets are priced at RM15 for adults, RM10 for children and senior citizens, RM30 for adult foreign citizens and RM25 for foreign children.
