PUCHONG, Nov 5 — State exco for public transportation Ng Sze Han said he hopes the upcoming 2022 Selangor Budget will maintain the allocation for the Smart Selangor Bus service.

He added that the service has been met with good demand and reception from the people.

“This project has been very successful, and is well-received by residents in Selangor. I hope the Budget will also focus on restoring the economy, particularly the B40 group,” Ng said.

He was speaking at the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Adolescents at the Dewan Serbaguna Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya in Puchong Indah yesterday.

During a briefing session on October 8, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said all state assemblymen and community leaders in Selangor will participate in the preparation of the 2022 Selangor Budget.

The budget’s tabling will take place on November 26, and is expected to be debated over the course of a week before it is approved in December.
