Thoughts, prayers by TMJ for Selangor citizens stricken by floods

SHAH ALAM, Dec 21 — The Selangor floods disaster has caught the attention of the Crown Prince of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, who directed the mobilisation of assistance for the affected victims.

Consisting of food and baby necessities Including diapers and baby milk, the assistance was handed over to Hulu Langat flood victims by the Johor’ based Southern Volunteers organisation.

Tunku Ismail said more aid will be channeled soon.

“May Allah bless and give strength to the Menteri Besar, as well as to the citizens of Selangor.

“Kindly let me know if further assistance is needed. God willing, I will help. More assistance will be given today and tomorrow,” he said on Twitter.

Earlier on, His Highness had replied to Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari’s tweet in which he thanked the Johor royal for the help.

“Many thanks to Tunku@HRHJohor for the support and assistance. Your concerns are very much appreciated,” Amirudin said.
