SHAH ALAM, Jan 4 — Road users can use the scratch and display manual coupons for parking in all local councils (PBT) in Selangor, up until the end of March.
State executive councillor for local government Ng Sze Han said the extension of the deadline, which was yesterday, is meant to allow existing users to finish up their coupons.

“Perhaps prior to this, the movement control order (MCO) confined many individuals to their homes which meant lesser usage of coupons. Therefore I call upon all to finish using it before March 31.
“They must also prepare to move to the digital parking system, by downloading the Smart Selangor Parking (SSP) mobile application,” said Ng when contacted.
He is confident that all parties can adapt to the system which is easier and faster, as around 1.7 million users have downloaded it so far.
The Selangor government abolished the use of the scratch and display manual coupons, and enforced e-coupons through the SSP application which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or from the Google Play Store.
