Post-flood: STDC to provide free car inspection for flood victims

By Nasuha Badrul Huzaini

SHAH ALAM, Jan 5 — The Selangor Technical Development Centre (STDC) automotive technical team will provide free advisory and vehicle inspection services to flood victims, said Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

“The initiative by STDC is truly beneficial as it helps to ease the financial burden of flood victims. #Selangor Bangkit,” he wrote on Twitter.

Amirudin also shared an infographic about the programme alongside his tweet.

Based on the information stated, the free service programme covers three main scopes namely engine’s compartment, passenger’s compartment and chassis inspection.

As for the chassis scope, it will include an inspection of the vehicle’s condition, lubricant oil, gearbox, fluid, brake, steering, and electronic control unit.

Basic service assistance (where the vehicle’s owner is required to provide the necessary parts) is also available through the programme.
