Subang Jaya rep lists 16 achievements in 2021 report card

SHAH ALAM – State assemblyman Michelle Ng Mei Sze has released a report card outlining the performance of the Subang Jaya constituency in 2021.

In an infographic posted on Twitter yesterday, Ng said 16 achievements were met in the previous year, which includes the free Covid-19 screening of 7,182 individuals.

A total of 6,916 people were administered with the Covid-19 vaccine and 4,357 food baskets were distributed during the movement control order (MCO) period.

Other achievements include the following:

– Free transportation service provided for 491 senior citizens to Covid-19 vaccination centres
– 3,500 Covid-19 self-test kits distributed to the community
– 100 oximeters provided to Rukun Tetangga (RT), Residents Association (RA) and Joint Management Bodies (JMB) in Subang Jaya
– 158 women underwent free cervical screening tests with the Rose Foundation
– 10 units of oxygen tanks donated to SJ Ambulance.
– Subsidy of specialist fee for those seeking help from mental health professionals under the Selangor Mental Sihat (Sehat) programme
– Establish the Selangor Legal Aid programme.
– 108 students in Subang Jaya received computers to help with their online learning
– Collaboration with Kumpool to implement an on-demand bus hailing system for the Subang Jaya community
– 12 improvement works in school, playgrounds and service areas using the Small Project allocation
– 150 volunteers for the post-flood cleanup in flood-affected areas
– 600 units of mattresses donated to flood victims
– 106,156 kilogrammes of materials under the recycle at source programme were collected as of December 31, 2021

Meanwhile, Ng had also gave out a Happy New Year 2022 wish and apologised for the delay in coming out with the report card.

“Happy New Year dear friends. My apology for the two days delay. Let me share a brief report on the Subang Jaya state assemblyman office report for 2021,” she said on Twitter.
