USJ 9 residents get new reflexology walk

By Sheeda Fathil

SHAH ALAM, Feb 1 — A newly built reflexology walk worth RM19,997 in USJ 9/5 playground is the latest project to benefit the residents in Subang Jaya.

Its representative Michelle Ng Mei Sze said the new playground feature is among some of the small projects for the constituency that was completed on November 29 last year.

“My office received the application letter from the USJ 9 Residents Association for this facility following an increase in the number of senior citizens living in the area.

“In fact, many residents visited the playground during morning and evening to do exercise and recreational activities,” she said in a statement.

USJ 9 Rukun Tetangga (RT) chairman Khoo Kah Jin said the initiative is very beneficial to the residents because the reflexology walk could improve the health of individuals.

“Reflexology plays an important role in Chinese culture. Therefore, we can share this knowledge and culture with other races as well as strengthen the relationship between the residents,” he said.
