26 areas in five Selangor districts affected by floods

SHAH ALAM, March 8 — A total of 26 areas in five districts in the state were reported to be affected by the floods as of 9pm last night.

The National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) informed that the districts involved were Gombak, Hulu Langat, Petaling, Kuala Selangor and Sepang.

Based on the agency’s post on Facebook, the five affected areas in Gombak are Taman Rahmat Jaya, Kampung Melayu Sri Kundang Batu Arang, around the leprosy centre, SB Jaya industrial area and around Kampung Melayu Sri Kundang.

In Hulu Langat, it affected nine locations, namely in Kampung Rinching Hulu, Kampung Sungai Lui, Taman Lestari, Kampung Batu 17, Desa Mahkota Sungai Kembung Hilir, Kampung Orang Asli Paya Lebar, Kampung Sungai Kantan, Kampung Desa Mahkota and Kampung Bangi Lama.

Meanwhile, six areas in Petaling that were affected are Jalan 2/1 and Jalan 2/2 in Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh, Taman Kinrara, Kinrara Court, Taman Buana, USJ 1 and Kampung Sri Puchong.

Nadma also informed that the three affected areas in Kuala Selangor are Kampung Merbau Indah, Kampung Sri Sentosa and Kampung Sri Aman.

Meanwhile, three areas in Sepang are Taman Murni, Jalan Tok Dagang and KOA Batu 28.
