By Jerry Choong

SHAH ALAM, March 1 — The water supply for 11 areas in the Klang region affected by a burst pipe incident has since fully recovered, said Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd.

Its corporate communication head Elina Baseri said the water supply was fully restored by 4pm today.

“Air Selangor would like to thank the consumers for their patience and cooperation during this unscheduled water supply disruption period,” she said in a statement.

Elina added that consumers are advised to obtain official information on water supply disruptions through all Air Selangor official communication channels, namely the Air Selangor application, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram Air Selangor and the website www.airselangor.com.

“Consumers’ inquiries and complaints can also be submitted to the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300 or Help Centre via the Air Selangor application,” she said.

The burst pipe incident, which occurred along Jalan Seruling 59 in Taman Seri Andalas, Klang, resulted in the suspension of water supply at 8pm yesterday.

Air Selangor mobilised its water tankers to affected areas, with priority given to critical premises during the unscheduled water supply disruption.
