Areas affected by floods in Selangor rise to 28

SHAH ALAM, March 8 — Areas affected by the flooding in Selangor have risen to 28 today from 26 areas yesterday as of this morning.

The National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) on Facebook said the floods has hit five districts namely Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Langat and Sepang.

The agency said the latest area affected by the flood were Jalan Paya Lebar Batu 23, Sungai Lui in Hulu Langat and Taman Delima in Sepang.

As of 8am today, a total of 1,122 flood victims have been evacuated to nine temporary relief centres throughout the state.
