SUBANG JAYA, March 4 — Individuals who have purchased the scratch and display parking coupons issued by the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) can redeem the unused vouchers.
Its mayor Mohamad Azhan Md Amir said the coupons could be redeemed at the Smart Selangor Delivery Unit office.
“Everyone, including the coupon agents, can redeem the coupons. This would mean that they would not incur any losses and would get back their money,” he said when met at a back-to-school shopping programme at Mydin Hypermarket here yesterday.
The Selangor government had previously announced that it would phase out the use of the scratch and display coupons and enforce the e-coupons via the Smart Selangor Parking (SSP) mobile app, available via the App Store or Google Play Store.
On January 4, state executive councillor for local government Ng Sze Han said that the manual coupons can be used until the end of the month.
