SUBANG JAYA, April 5 — The Bandar Puteri Puchong Town Park recreational area which has been undergoing upgrade works for the past two years is now fully complete and ready to receive the public.
State executive councillor for local government Ng Sze Han said the upgrade works on the 22-year old recreational park cost approximately RM1.4 million, which was fully borne by IOI Properties.
“The 11-acre recreational park was developed by IOI Properties and has been undergoing upgrades for the past two years. The works took a little bit more time due to the constraints caused by the Movement Control Order.
“Many new amenities have been built for family activities including a children’s playground, equipment to increase fitness and route platforms that enable visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery,” he said, following his visit to the park together with IOI Properties earlier today.
Ng, who is also Kinrara state assemblyman, said he hopes visitors will keep clean while visiting and ensure the environment in the area is always taken care of.
“Parks such as this one is important for areas with many residents such as Puchong, it is not only a recreational park but a place to preserve the environment,” he said.
