SHAH ALAM, April 21 — Approximately 1,334 boxes of basic food aid were handed over to the B40 income group by Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd last year.

The company said the aid is part of its ‘Together We Move Forward’ programme since 2020, which focuses on the B40 in and around Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya.

“With the theme Together We Move Forward, the programme is continued to provide aid to the communities involved via the contribution of basic necessities.

“For further information on the programme, please go to https://www.airselangor.com/sesamamara/,” Air Selangor said in a Facebook post.

In a video presentation, Air Selangor’s other forms of assistance include fixing damaged internal pipes at 35 homes and a plumber apprentice skills course to help participants who lost their jobs due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In addition, the company also provided laptops, free Internet data and school necessities to the children of Air Selangor personnel who need them.

Similarly, it also made reservations for face masks to aid B40 women and disabled persons in generating income.
