KUALA LUMPUR, May 23 — More than 500 participants were offered employment after attending job interviews at the state-organised career fair Jelajah JobCare (JobCare), which was launched in February.
State executive councillor for workers empowerment V Ganabatirau that the event has entered its fifth series, which is in collaboration with the Social Security Organisation (Socso).
“Although it is on a smaller scale, it is still part of our efforts to hep as many individuals as possible to land jobs in various sectors.
“I would like to congratulate those who were offered jobs and would like to urge job seekers to take up this opportunity as we will tour four more districts next month,” he told SelangorKini when met after the Job Placement Programme 2022 at Dewan Serbaguna Ayer Panas in Setapak, here, yesterday.
The Jelajah JobCare programme is held in the nine Selangor districts from February 26 to June 25, with 15 companies from various sectors offering some 3,000 job opportunities.

June 4 at Dewan Taman Gombak, Gombak
June 11 and 12 at Dewan Dato’ Hormat, Tanjong Karang
June 18 at Dewan Banting Baru, Kuala Langat
June 25 at Dewan Sri Bernam, Sabak Bernam
