SHAH ALAM, May 27 — The bus service for the four main routes from Rawang to Kuala Lumpur was successfully restored on May 25 as a result of cooperation with MARA Liner Sdn Bhd.
Rawang state assemblyman Chua Wei Kiat said the routes include Lebuh Pudu Kuala Lumpur – Rawang and Lebuh Pudu Kuala Lumpur – Bandar Tasik Puteri via Bandar Country Homes.
He added the other routes include Lebuh Pudu Kuala Lumpur – Selayang Baru and Lebuh Pudu Kuala Lumpur – Bukit Idaman Selayang.
“Today (May 24) with the representatives and staff of MARA Liner and myself, we conducted a test run on the bus service from the Rawang Bus Terminal,” Chua said in a Facebook post.
In the meantime, he said they would continue communicating with the company to restore the service for another 12 buses on June 1.
“Also, we are studying ways to restore the bus service in residential areas which are corporate service responsibility (CSR) routes,” he added.
Chua said two weeks ago he received complaints about the sudden termination of the bus service that resulted in people not being able to go to work or school.
