SHAH ALAM, May 26 — The number of tourist arrivals in the state has increased significantly marking a return to the pre-Covid-19 pandemic level, says Tourism Selangor Corporate Communications manager Ahmad Nazri Tashriq Rahmat.

He said among the locations of choice for travellers were rural areas such as the paddy fields in Sabak Bernam and the recreational park in Kanching waterfall, Rawang.

“They chose these locations to do their ‘Outfit Of The Day’ (OOTD) photoshoot session with the family to record the memories of Aidilfitri.

“The number of tourist attendance since the second day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri has increased by more than 100 per cent to return to the pre-Covid-19 pandemic level,” he told SelangorKini.

Tourism Selangor has listed 10 locations for those seeking to take photos with the theme Hari Raya to brighten up the Aidilfitri atmosphere.

The locations have elements of lush greenery, beaches and urban landscapes for travellers seeking to conduct photography sessions by showing off their festive clothes.

The locations are Laman Seni 7, Elmina Valley Park, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque, Padihijau Homestay, Lover’s Bridge, Tanjung Sepat and Tamarind Square.

Also in the list are Spacerubix, Kampung Pelangi, Bonda Valley and Istana Bandar Jugra.
