SHAH ALAM, May 5 — Local volunteer body Team Selangor distributed 100 sticks of lemang to residents in the Sungai Tua and Batu 12 Gombak areas recently.

Its chief secretariat Syahaizel Keman said the programme was carried out in cooperation with the Selangor Local Youth Movement (PeBS) in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

“Asides from lemang we also distributed 400 packs of rendang to the B40 residents so they can enjoy the festive period as well.

InsyaAllah the initiative will be continued in other areas in the coming future,” he told SelangorKini.

Syahaizel added that 1,050 packs of bubur lambuk were also distributed for free to the surrounding residents.

“The bubur lambuk was prepared and packaged by Team Selangor volunteers before being distributed to the community,” he said.
