SHAH ALAM, May 11 — The state government will organise Hari Raya Aidilfitri open houses on a large scale in all nine Selangor districts for a week, starting on May 15.
The three-hour programme will be held either in the evening or night beginning in Hulu Selangor which will be enhanced with contributions of duit raya and art performances.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari is set to deliver a speech and interact with guests at the open houses, after two years of restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The dates and events for the open houses are as follows:
- May 15, 2.30pm at Dewan Serbaguna dan Kompleks Sukan in Hulu Selangor
- May 16, 8pm at Ruang Parkir MPAJ Taman Melawati in Gombak
- May 17, 8pm at Kompleks Sukan Bangi in Hulu Langat
- May 18, 8pm at BBST Walk in Salak Tinggi, Sepang
- May 19, 8pm at Perkarangan Stadium Jugra in Kuala Langat
- May 20, 3pm at Stadium Tertutup in Kuala Selangor
- May 20, 8pm at Perkarangan Stadium Sungai Besar in Sabak Bernam
- May 21, 2.30pm at Petaling (venue to be announced later)
- May 21, 8pm at Dewan Kompleks Sukan Pandamaran in Klang
