KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 — Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) has launched its fourth episode of the BoBoiBoy campaign to raise awareness of water resources conservation in the community.

The animated series is a collaboration between Air Selangor and local animation company Animonsta Studios Sdn Bhd.

Air Selangor Corporate Communications head Elina Baseri said the special episode, produced in conjunction with the World Environment Day celebrations, will be aired this Saturday on its website and YouTube channel.

“This episode is themed Save Our River. It tells of BoBoiBoy’s journey in fighting the garbage monsters to keep the river free from pollution.

“This is our fourth collaboration with Animonsta Studios since June last year which aims to raise awareness on the importance of caring for the environment, especially water resources, to the younger generations,” she said.

Elina was speaking at the launch of the new episode at Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) in Mid Valley Megamall here today.

She added the three previous BoBoiBoy episodes titled BoBoiBoy Air Special Mission, Join BoBoiBoy Air Special Mission Now and Benefits of Rainwater have since garnered over 7.7 million views.

“We hope this new episode will continue to be well-received and is able to educate the public in continuing to take care of water resources,” Elina said.

Meanwhile, Animonsta Studios managing director Nizam Razak said each episode conveyed a clear and good message, especially on water resources conservation and on saving water.

“We want to cultivate awareness, we do not want people to waste water. We hope this effort will be effective because it will bring great benefits in the future,” he said.
