By Jerry Choong

SHAH ALAM, June 21 — The ongoing upgrade works for the water supply system at the Bukit Dengkil Reservoir has now reached 63 per cent completion as of 6pm today, according to Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor)

Due to a technical issue on site, the works are currently facing some delays and is now expected to be completed by 12am tomorrow.

“The water supply will begin distribution in stages to consumers, once it has been stabilised.

“Air Selangor will continue to mobilise alternative water supply via water tankers to affected areas, with priority for critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres and funerals,” it said in a statement.

Consumers can obtain information on the scheduled water supply disruption from time to time via all official communication channels, namely the Air Selangor app, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300.

“Inquiries and complaints can also be submitted to the Help Centre via www.airselangor.com and the Air Selangor app,” said Air Selangor.

Yesterday, Air Selangor said a scheduled water supply disruption would occur in the Petaling district, affecting 47 areas due to the upgrade works.
