SHAH ALAM, June 25 — The KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM) aims to have over 120,000 iClean Selangor app users by the end of this year.

Its media and public relations officer Mahfuzah Muhamad said since the app was launched six years ago, the company’s digital platform for public complaints has garnered 96,000 users.

“iClean Selangor has successfully helped in the management of domestic waste and public cleaning in Selangor. Users can report directly to us on uncollected garbage and immediate action would be taken,” she told SelangorKini.

She said KDEBWM would also take advantage of its participation in the Selangor Penyayang roadshow which will be held in several state districts to promote its mobile app to the visitors.

“Not only will we help them to register but we will also guide them on how to use the app. Our staff will demonstrate the right way to use it.

“At the same time, we will listen to any complaints made by the people in the area in order to help us improve our service,” she said.

KDEBWM, which is a subsidiary of the Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI, launched the iClean Selangor mobile app in July 2016.

The app could be downloaded via Google Play and Apple App Store. Users can also contact the KDEBWM customer service centre at 1-800-88-2824/019-375 9592 or WhatsApp at 019-2742824.
